4. The YouTube app will now display an eight-digit code. Note it down.
5. Visit www.youtube.com/activate using a browser on a laptop, desktop, or mobile. Make sure you have logged in to your YouTube account before continuing.
6. Enter the code you saw on the TV screen, and proceed. In case you get any prompts, allow, and continue.

Method 9: Use Chromecast to stream YouTube to TV

Google Chromecast is a great option to share screens or stream multimedia from one device to another. It is particularly useful if you want to view something on a larger screen, like casting a video from your mobile phone to a TV. In case you are having issues with the YouTube app on your TV, you can install Chromecast and use it to view YouTube videos.

1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet that you want to stream from is on the same Wi-Fi network as Chromecast.
2. Open the YouTube app.
3. Tap the Cast button. It is found at the top of the app’s Home screen.
4. Choose the device you want to cast to, in this case, it will be your TV.
