How to generate QR code in PowerPoint

Let’s see the method to create a QR code in Microsoft PowerPoint.

1] Launch Microsoft PowerPoint on your Windows PC. The QR code generator is not added to the Microsoft Office pack by default. Therefore, we have to add it. For this, go to “Insert > Store.” Some of you may have “Get Add-ins” in place of “Store” option depending on the version of your Microsoft Office.

2] A new window will appear on your screen. In the search box of that window, type “QR” and press “Enter.” In the search results, you will see “QR4Office” at the top; install this add-in by clicking on the “Add” button. A new popup window will appear on your screen, click “Continue.”

3] After the installation of the plugin in PowerPoint, you will see it in the right panel. In a new PowerPoint presentation, you can access the plugin from “Insert > My Add-ins.”

4] Now, you can create and insert QR codes in your PowerPoint presentation. For this, you have to enter the URL in the right panel. Simply paste the URL without HTTPS:// or HTTP://, as these are available in the drop-down menu. See the below screenshot. You can also generate QR codes for any custom text by selecting “Custom” option in the drop-down menu.

2] After that, it will be available on the right panel just like in PowerPoint. Now, you have to repeat the same steps as done in the PowerPoint to create a QR code. If the “Insert” option does not work, you can copy the QR code and paste it in the respective cell. If you are unable to paste the QR code, save it on your computer by right-clicking on it.

3] Now, go to “Insert > Picture” and select the code to insert it in Excel.
